No Better Place lyrics

I could use someone to part the red sea To fend off my enemies And fight all my wars I could use someone to heal all my lepers To make right whatever Pains me the most Things were running just as planned When suddenly I lost command And for one control is out of my reach CHORUS: But I can't think of a better place No I can't think of a better place Yeah I can't think of a better place Than where I am now I could use someone from a bush that's caught fire When my needs are most dire And I've nowhere to go I could use someone on the road to Damascus When I'm running the fastest Away from what's real I was following the prescribed course When I lost my way in an unseen storm And there's no map left that I can trust CHORUS Things were running just as planned When suddenly I lost command And for once control is out of my reach CHORUS
