Letra de Heaven Ain't Like What They Said

I can't explain it, son He answered my questions My body's dead, but I can run again It ain't what I imagined, though, to be what's like around the throne An infinitely better home, my friend Heaven ain't like what they said Spoke to Jesus, ate the bread It's the best I've ever tasted Son, your life, don't go waste it Hold to Jesus til the end He can wash away your sin Go on preach now to the earth Tell 'em 'bout the second birth As I drifted out of sight My body decayed and died But my spirit ascended like a dove And I saw my family, tears they wept, but I'ma be On my way to eternity above Heaven ain't like what they said Spoke to Jesus, ate the bread It's the best I've ever tasted Son, your life, don't go waste it Hold to Jesus till end He can wash away your sin Go on, preach now to the earth Tell 'em 'bout the second birth Walk the narrow road to life Holy men and women go preach the gospel Bring them home Whether family friend or foe Flee the darkness of the earth Shine the light of Jesus' words Speak in boldness for the cross For our Savior bring applause I'm looking forward to seeing ya But as for my sweet Rebecca Can't wait to catch up in eternity And I remember very well, whom I did and didn't tell So tell 'em son, and tell 'em well for me Heaven ain't like what they said Spoke to Jesus It's the best I've ever tasted Son, your life, don't go waste it Hold to Jesus to the end He can wash away your sin Go and preach unto the earth Tell 'em 'bout the second birth Heaven ain't like what they said Spoke to Jesus ate the breath It's the best I've ever tasted Son, your life, don't go waste it Hold to Jesus to the end He can wash away your sin Go on preach now to the earth Tell 'em 'bout the second birth Yeah, heaven ain't like what they said
