Letra de The Thrill Of The Grill

The Thrill Of The Grill (Kim Carnes) Works real hard in an all night cafe Says she loves her job Wouldn't have it any other way Then he walks in wearin' cheap cologne She said I'll take off early If you'll take me home Come on honey say you will Jump on into my Coupe De Ville There's a Mexico sunset standing still Let's fall in love to the thrill of the grill His hair was slick but he was slicker His touch was radioactive And it made her shiver When he emptied his pockets They were filled with champagne He held out his hand As he called out her name Come on honey say you will Jump on into my Coupe De Ville There's a Mexico sunset standing still Let's fall in love to the thrill of the grill Sideways--oh my God I'm sideways Half-crazed--dizzy dazed and waylayed The boss said Phillis have you gone mad You're the best short order That I ever had Don't throw it all away On a one night fling Don't be a fool for a foolish thing So she tore off her apron Threw down the pan She said buzz it boss You just don't understand I've waited all my life To feel the thrill To be carried away By the thrill of the grill So come on honey yes I will I'll jump on into your Coupe De Ville There's a Mexico sunset standing still Let's fall in love to the thrill of the grill
