Ahead Behind lyrics

It's been a long time since I've been this honest With you or even myself But there's no way we can move forward If we can't leave the past behind Today I'm gonna start being honest I've outgrown playing these blame games There's more than being two steps behind love I know that it's just waiting on me I will always find another mountain to climb I'll always be chasing this light Cause the road ahead is so much better Than the life I left behind Are there ever really mistakes? Or simply a slide of destiny's hand Cause every choice has led me here My own proverbial promise lived And now there's no looking back Cause now I'm where I'm meant to be I will always find another mountain to climb I'll always be chasing this light Cause the road ahead is so much better Than the life I left behind I will always find another mountain to climb I'll always be chasing this light Cause the road ahead is so much better Than the life I left behind
