Paroles de Sayonara wa Iwanai de (translation)

When I think of it, ever since the day I met you, have we ever passed through a happy time? I tried my best during the cold and cruel times too. Don't say goodbye, because I'll cry... Even though I should have decided to show you just my smiles, the tears keep overflowing, and I don't know why. Because I want to smile more tomorrow than today, I want to stay at your side until these tears have dried. I think back upon the stars shining brilliantly in that sky; amid the passage of time, they become memories. Even though I should have decided to show you just my smiles, the tears keep overflowing, and I don't know why.
