Paroles de Sheila C.

Sheila C. was the prettiest Girl in my town The boys loved her So people say she ran around Sheila's reputation was fast She was my first love And she was my last Sheila C. was the prettiest Girl in my town Every night we'd steal away And have a rendezvous Turn the radio up And to what lovers do Everybody knew that Sheila and I Would be together The rest of our lives Why did he take her away from me He couldn't love her Couldn't love her Any more than me I should have been With Sheila that night But by the time they find me I'll be beside my Sheila Ah Sheila I knew that something was wrong When I picked up the phone Her father's voice was shaking' When he said She never made it home I ran outside and it started to rain It felt like tears And that's when I knew I'd never see my Sheila again Why did he take her away from me He couldn't love her Couldn't love her Any more than me I should have been with Sheila that night But by the time they find me I'll be beside my Sheila
