Paroles de Amphetamine Praise

so here i sit, waiting on ends of days. so here i sit, singing these songs of praise. a hymn for a wish. a hymn for a prayer. in the company of flies. trying to breathe with lead-laced lungs. panic. on my knees just for one taste. just a taste of this righteousness. this glass is warming my veins with verses of pleasure. this lust for virtue stains my sheets. finding jesus at the bottoms of bottles. songs of praise to wish it all away, until it all goes black. sweating scriptures. retching verses. tearing confessions. a hymn for a wish. a hymn for a prayer. songs of praise to wish it all away, until it all goes black.
