I am a viking, shield maiden, Queen of the North A ruthless leader and fearless ruler of wrath Fighting at the front lines with my heathens by my side In fame and glory I will be immortalized Blood sacrifice for the ancient gods Oh, hear me Odin our father, receive my blót Fighting at the front lines with my brethren at my side Give us strength in our coming quest, for England we raid Onwards, cut them all down dead (Cut them all down, dead) And now we stand here united at your line of shores, beware When you hear our savage cries, you cower in your souls My maidens strike fear into the hearts of the bravest men And I yearn to burn your wretched kind and be rid of the scum that you breed When civil war broke out in Denmark, Ragnar called for my aid One hundred and twenty ships and the fleet belongs to me Where I procured our victory You came to seize our lands We stood up to your oppression Ferociously fought blood with blood On my return from the war, I creep in the night With the head of a spear concealed in my gown I took my husband's life and usurped the whole of his name and sovereignty I would rather rule alone than to share the throne Valhalla awaits where I will feast with the gods Onwards, cut them all down dead (Cut them all down, dead) And now we stand here united at your line of shores, beware When you hear our savage cries, you cower in your souls My maidens strike fear into the hearts of the bravest men And I yearn to burn your wretched kind and be rid of the scum that you breed And now we stand here united at your line of shores, beware When you hear our savage cries, you cower in your souls My maidens strike fear into the hearts of the bravest men And I yearn to burn your wretched kind and be rid of the scum that you breed
