Paroles de My Way Up

I've known since I was young I wouldn't stay where I was from Wouldn't take the easy road Went ahead and made my own Why walk when you can run? I had to get used to no Every high takes a low I can't go with the flow When I wanna make waves Oh, but I'm seeing it now Just like a break in the clouds Feel the sun shining down on me I'm on my way up, won't look back I'm on my way up, past has passed 'Cause I found my strength inside of me Got my head up high 'cause I believe I'm on my way up And I'm going, I'm going up (my way) I'm going, I'm going up (my way) I'm going, I'm going up (my way) Thank God for my mistakes For the tears and the lonely days Even though it hurt like hell No, I never lost myself 'Cause I bend, but I don't break Oh, and I'm seeing it now Just like a break in the clouds Feel the sun shining down on me I'm on my way up, won't look back I'm on my way up, past has passed 'Cause I found my strength inside of me Got my head up high 'cause I believe I'm on my way up And I'm going, I'm going up (my way) I'm going, I'm going up (my way) I'm going, I'm going up (my way) I'm still fighting my demons, but I don't believe them Finally following my soul I'm still me, but I'm better, I'm stronger than ever And I know I'm on my way up, won't look back I'm on my way up, past has passed 'Cause I found my strength inside of me Got my head up high 'cause I believe I'm on my way up And I'm going, I'm going up (my way) I'm going, I'm going up (my way) I'm going, I'm going up (my way)
