Paroles de Urutau’s Cry

Hear this sad song that echoes though the woods The urutau is crying for her love She fell in love with an enemy She spent her nights crying silently in the dark She was tired of all this endless suffering She was forbidden to see the one she loves Come, my love Come, my love She was paralyzed, speechless, staring at the moon And then she knew her love was gone Excruciating pain deep inside her heart Love is the only thing that could set her free She shook and shuddered Began to drop repeated cries She flew away and disappeared Come, my love Come, my love The full moon rises And no one hears another single sound Only the sad cry of the Urutau Singing the misfortune of her love My love
