Original lyrics
ENI knew a man named Jack with a handful of suckers
With a heart full of talent
And a willingness to get up and go
Made a lotta jive talk to "em
He was really out to screw "em
But he couldn't when they all got popped
With a mountain of blow
Well it's been said, that in the end
The best laid plans go strange, go strange
Poor little Suzy was a credit to the movie
Was a taker and a faker,
When she made it in a wink of an eye
She found a rich old man
And she figured out a plan
How to take him to the cleaners
But she couldn't because he finally died
Well it's been said, that in the end
The best laid plans go strange, go strange
Well in the end, as I have said
The best laid plans, go strange, go strange
