Testo di First Time, Last Night

Woke up Saturday Hungover in the bed I made Guess I slept in the jeans that I left in Shirt still smellin' like cigarettes and My head's pounding like a house band kick drum But I don't even mind, 'cause For the first time, last night Walked into that bar that we used to call ours First sip didn't hit like it used to, like it used to When I was washing down the misery Yeah, my heart didn't sink when your song came on Didn't ditch all my friends when I saw you call Damn right, I was drinkin', but it wasn't 'cause I needed to I forgot about you for the first time last night But it ain't like I don't know I've still got a long way to go Before I throw away the key to that door But I'm closer than ever before, 'cause For the first time, last night Walked into that bar that we used to call ours First sip didn't hit like it used to, like it used to When I was washing down the misery Yeah, my heart didn't sink when your song came on Didn't ditch all my friends when I saw you call Damn right, I was drinkin', but it wasn't 'cause I needed to I forgot about you for the first time last night Oh, for the first time last night I wasn't puttin' myself through hell I wasn't even second-guessing myself For the first time, last night Walked into that bar that we used to call ours First sip didn't hit like it used to, like it used to When I thought I'd never get over you Yeah, my heart didn't sink when your song came on Didn't ditch all my friends when I saw you call Damn right, I was drinkin', but it wasn't 'cause I needed to I forgot about you for the first time last night Oh, for the first time last night
