Testo di Jesus is the Direction

Against the wind, I go A stranger in no man's land Watching from afar, uninvited Truth at the door, an ancient good Yes, I've been here before But saw everything From a distance and left Not knowing where to In relentless search Days in the desert Flowing in circles Now that I've grown I've lowered my gaze My face has aged It was You, Jesus, the salvation Unnoticed, but always there Today I see You by my side Calm steps, no more hurry We walk together, slowly On the journey that life addresses Amidst the storms, I found You In the calm, I held Your hand Through highs and lows Your light to guide In the love for Jesus My heart rejoices I share my story Tears and smiles In faith I find shelter More than a friend In the walk with Christ A love without equal United by sacrifice A spiritual bond Now that I've grown I've lowered my gaze My face has aged It was You, Jesus, the salvation Unnoticed, but always there And on this path, You teach me About the supreme truths The treasures of creation Jesus, my beautiful Lord Your liberating blood Overflows me with anointing In the rhythm of creation Your presence is the song With every step, every breath Overflows me with anointing And on this path, You teach me About the supreme truths The treasures of creation Jesus, my beautiful Lord Your liberating blood Overflows me with anointing In the rhythm of creation Your presence is the song With every step, every breath Overflows me with anointing
