Testo di He Is Not

I put one foot in front of the other I allow myself to follow my body Never really going anywhere He is not I make my way through the press of oncoming bodies My arms and legs seem to weigh a ton I'm hearing the dull beating of my heart He is not You see me smile You see me play I don’t reveal I'm not ok I’ve become so used to darkness I'm surprised to see the light Like wishes from the other side He is not An open book lies face down beside me Depression in the carpet where the chair once stood However much I comb my memory He is not A word from you would cure everything
