Testo di Sleep Tongue

The day was draped in golden twilight And everything was a memory Dissolving like sugar on your tongue I want to hold every minute in my hands Cupped like water Slipping through the cracks How lovely is the silence of growing leaves? I can feel you close And now I reach for you Through the thorns in every dream But I can’t get out Bathe me in the fire Dance around the embers White stones in our mouths Trees and forests talk to me when I’m sleeping Take me when I’m lost
