Testo di Jimbo Jenkins

There's a funny little man in my hometown His age is ninety three He's a cute little man with a funny little grin You'll love him yes siree He'll tell you tales of Buffalo Bill And things that they have done This funny little man in my hometown Is loved by everyone Jimbo Jenkins is his name You'll find him in the Hall of Fame The Hall of Fame's his favorite chair Sitting on the courthouse square Children gather all around From miles and miles they come To listen to this fine little man Who's loved by everyone And the battles they have won And he can prove the story's true By the notches on his gun Little cowboys injuns too Think he's the grandest thing The way he tells his stories You can hear the bullets zing Jesse James and Robin Hood Ain't got a thing on him Cause he did more in three weeks time Than either one of them Someday I know there'll be a statue On the courthouse square There will be old Jimbo Jenkins In his favorite chair He'll go down in history That is plain to see For all his tales of yesterday So famous he will be
