Testo di Everything Soup

It's everything soup, everything soup, And I'll never make it again. Oh we'll make another everything soup But it never will be the same. Cause this has a spoonful of yesterday's beans Noon-time gravy and a handful of greens, The end of a roast and a sliver of toast And some onions cause they aren't dear, And since there was a dram in the heel of the can, We added a dollop of beer. Oh, everything soup, everything soup, Wholesome, and soul-some and good for the croup, It's tasty and hearty And fit for a party, Our beautiful everything soup. It's everything soup, everything soup, And I'll never make it again. Oh we'll make another everything soup But it never will be the same. A cupful of rice made it gooey and nice, Wing of a chicken, a shake of the spice, A pour of the water to give it some slurp, And fire to move it along, And when it got hot we danced round the pot, And sang it a comforting song. Oh, everything soup, everything soup, Wholesome, and soul-some and good for the croup, It's tasty and hearty And fit for a party, Our beautiful everything soup.
