Now i'm driving down the freeway and every single car seems to be moving in my way. That's the feeling I get every time I'm in direct route towards your place. Hell, we both know I probably won't show anyway. What's the sense in lying? It's half the part of trying. Here's the best part- I'm right beside your driveway waiting in the dark. Hope your family's fast asleep so we don't get caught. I miss when they still thought I wasn't bad news. I'll take a couple shots to kill my nerves. Or I could just drive away. Save us both the trouble. Save it for another day, with more lies and more fights. Setback further from the place we used to love. I wish that we could just stop this cycle. Oh, what I'd give to get back every second of my life spent driving on the mass pike. Can't help but wish to hijack the nearest construction crane. Take a wrecking ball to a bridge until it falls into the left lane. Then seal the right lane up, a six car pile up, your time was coming but... Here's the best part- you're waiting there alone all night in the dark. The traffic turned out to be much worse than I thought. I miss when you still thought i wasn't bad news. I'll take a couple hits to kill my nerves. Here's the best part I had a feeling shit would go to hell from the start. Half of me will always think you knew you'd get caught.
