Testo di Hail the Risen King

You met God's great fury In death You hid Your glory Source of life, You chose to die But death could not keep You Its power could not defeat You You're our King and You're alive Hail the risen King Jesus Hail Him who reigns on high Hail the Conqueror and Victor Hail our God who lives that death may die Hail the risen King, hail the risen King Jesus Christ Death's broken, sin's beaten The powers of hell defeated The Father's wrath is satisfied Now Your might and power Give strength for every hour You're at work to change our hearts You're coming, returning For those whose hearts are yearning For a glimpse of Your face We'll join with all races Our hearts will lift Your praises We will sing of all You've done
