Testo di His Blood Is on Us

By oppression and judgment He was taken away Yet who of His generation protested? For He was cut off from the land of the living For the transgression of my people, He was punished Oh, and the people cry-out Crucify him! The same mouths that cried hosanna now shout Crucify him! His blood is on us and our children! His blood is on us and our children! Betrayed by Judas at night at Gethsemane Even His disciple Peter denied Him They weren't there for His hour of suffering All but John had scattered away Oh, and then Peter cried out I don’t know him! Who told Jesus he’d die for Him shouts I don’t know him! His blood is on us and our children! His blood is on us and our children! By oppression and judgment he was taken away Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living For the transgression of my people, he was punished Oh, and the people cry-out Crucify him! The same mouths that cried “hosanna” now shout Crucify him! His blood is on us and our children! His blood is on us and our children! His blood is on us and our children! His blood is on us and our children!
