Transformation 歌詞

On the road to damascus, under a burning sky I held stones to stone the faithful, but my heart was far from right A light so bright, it made the noonday Sun seem dim Blinded, I fell, and heard a voice that pierced the hymn From the killer to the servant, from the shadow to the flame I traded all my status just to boast in Jesus' name Oh, I love the savior's cross, and I love his holy bride For the church of God I lived, and for the church I died In the desert I wandered, seeking answers in despair Pharisee to apostle, my path was now clear I preached the gospel, spreading light like a beacon In Christ's name, I fought, and nothing could stop me then I heard a voice crying: Saul, why do you fight against me? The scales fell from my eyes, and I could finally see The one I was piercing was the king upon the throne And from that blinding moment, my heart was his alone From the killer to the servant, from the shadow to the flame I traded all my status just to boast in Jesus' name Oh, I love the savior's cross, and I love his holy bride For the church of God I lived, and for the church I died
