I'm Still Working 歌詞

They tried to get me in trouble They told me I should quit They took away my best friend They even tried to silence me But I'm still working Yeah, I'm still playing the blues And if you ask me what I see for the future I’ll be playin’ the blues for sure Somebody said I'm crazy Somebody sent me medicine Many folks told me I couldn’t go on like this But I'm still working Yeah, I'm still playing the blues And if you ask me what I see for the future I’ll be playin’ the blues for sure You can take everything from me You can dig a hole to push me in alive You can play a bunch of spells on me But my mojo is on my side And I'm still working Yeah, I'm still playing the blues And if you ask me what I see for the future You know, I’ll be playin’ the blues for sure They tried to get me in trouble They told me I should quit They took away my best friend They even tried to silence me But I'm still working Yeah, I'm still playing the blues And no matter how old I am I’ll be playin’ the blues for sure
