It Was Metal 가사

In the beginning When all was black An explosion cracked the sky Volcanoes erupted The earth was corrupted By the sound that terrifies From the chaos came savage man To feast on the flesh Of the beasts he slew And as the cavemen discovered The fire and the thunder The strongest of them knew It was metal Heavy metal And it’s been here Since time began Electrifying and unifying A sonic gift to man In 1913 The rite of spring symphony Made the crowd lose control Then the blues man sealed The crossroads deal With the devil for his soul To bring us rock ‘n’ roll And now you can hear it pounding There’s joy in the screams We tell our stories With ear-splitting glory Metal reigns supreme It was metal Heavy metal And it’s been here Since time began Electrifying and unifying A sonic gift to man It was metal We strike down the unbelievers Defenders heed the call Demons tremble When the legion assembles We let the hammer fall It was metal Heavy metal And it’s been here Since time began It’s electrifying It’s unifying The sound that rules the land It was metal Heavy metal It was metal Heavy metal It was metal Heavy metal
