Children Of The Day 가사

Upon the shores of Egypt's ocean you reached out with mixed emotion. Seas of sins washed o'er your feet and held you down there was no retreat But when the Lord had something to say you never let sin block the way. Children of the day hear the Lord say, "Look My way, look My way" From way across the sea of sin came a golden ship that took you in. Sails of love that filled the sky encompassed you and you began to cry But when the Lord had something to say you never let tears block the way. Children of the day hear the Lord say, "Look My way, look My way" How can you see the sun when your eyes are filled with clouds? How can you see anything when you've become so proud? How can you see your own soul when you've forgotten to pray? How can you hope to see the day? How can you hope to see the day? How can you hope to see the day?
