It seems my youth has outgrouwn me, I'm stuck in a place where I don't want to be. Old friends houses, where they once lived, cuz they all grew up and I couldn't forgive. Why should i spend time in the past, trying to flip that hourglass? I can't help but feel betrayed, familiar streets that just aren't the same. Nothing stayed to see me through. Everything changed, now I must too. Just progression? I could not see? WE found new things and no longer could agree. Grew so distant, parted ways, while I'm still left thinking of the days.
