Closer To The Sun 가사

Time flowing backwards Ancient rhymes whisper farewell To the last glimpse of a sunlit world Descending into yesterday A golden tapestry stitched into clouds Radiant and beckoning, waves reflecting Glimmering on the shore Balanced only by the weight of the sky If I climb the tallest tree To reach the highest branch Higher, and higher until I can reach the sky I can almost touch the sun Rolling waves crash upon my feet The warm sand caressing me, holding me The power of the sea Falling down, deeper Covered in beaming sunlight If I climb the tallest tree To reach the highest branch Higher, and higher until I can reach the sky I can almost touch the sun Remember when we were young Innocence held close by the thinnest threads Arms outstretched, faces glowing We could almost touch the sun The rays fall around me Pushing me down into yellow grass and heavy air
