I'll Survive 가사

I was living each day, without a clue My life could be saved, with just one move I tried so hard to see what lies ahead How could I know that I would face death As hard as they try I know I'll survive I'll survive The warm smoking gun couldn't take me away My life was spared, I was blessed that day Someone's anger and their crazed desire The beast in man walks him into the fire As hard as they try I thank God I'm alive I'll survive Do we count all the days that matter Do we add up all the good times Don't we try to plan our lives each day? We carry on without the knowledge We never know what's in the balance What we learn should never go away As hard as they try I'll never know why I ain't gonna die I'll survive, I'll survive, I'll survive, I will survive I'm alive, I will thrive, I survived
