Wanted To Be Like You 가사

I tried to make you someone else I lied straight to myself Do you hate me 'cause I called you out? Say you want me, did you have to scream so loud? Wanted to be like you till I watched you drown (Wanted to be like, wanted to be like you) I'm still on the boat looking around (Wanted to be like, wanted to be like you) I don't see a plan, I don't see a plan Looking for the land, I don't see a plan Wanted to be like you till I watched you drown And it's weird that I'm your age now (your age now) And I know so much better somehow Did you date me and think there'd be no doubt? Ain't it lovely until all the truth comes out? Wanted to be like you till I watched you drown (Wanted to be like, wanted to be like you) I'm still on the boat looking around (Wanted to be like, wanted to be like you) I don't see a plan, I don't see a plan Looking for the land, I don't see a plan Wanted to be like you till I watched you drown I'm not gonna take it this time around Still hoping you make it home safe and sound Wanted to be like you till I watched you drown (I wanted to, wanted to be like you) I'm still on the boat looking around (I wanted to, wanted to be like you) I don't see a plan, I don't see a plan Looking for the land, I don't see a plan Wanted to be like you till I watched you drown
