Today many sing and say they make poetry
But I only observe that they are people who do what they do
It is talking about sex, drugs and violence, the real
Poets are those of before, who wrote inspired and
Motivated by a feeling
Santo, Santo Domingo, is the title of a song by the troubadour
From Venezuela Luis Gerardo Tovar, few remember him, but many
It made us believe in true and healthy love, that love that
I was looking thinking about a tomorrow, that made us give roses
And write poems
Today many sing and say they make poetry
But I only observe that they are people who do what they do
It is talking about sex, drugs and violence, the real
Poets are those of before, who wrote inspired and
Motivated by a feeling
Neruda, Andrés Eloy Blanco, Gabriela Mistral, among others
The trio Los Panchos, las mocedades, pandora, Juan Gabriel
Rocío Durcal, among many who in the eighties made us
Jumping with emotion in love and feeling that love was worth
The pity, those poets come back, that they don't stay like society
Of the dead poets
Today many sing and say they make poetry
But I only observe that they are people who do what they do
It is talking about sex, drugs and violence, the real
Poets are those of before, who wrote inspired and
Motivated by a feeling
