My memory's little hazy, of course. Yeah this mule would just line up with all of the finest and take out a running at the sounding of the gun but in the final turn the mule would start to burn and though them quarterhorses was steady making pretty good time, The Mule was first to cross the line every time. He was the Miracle Mule, in a quarterhorse duel, And only a fool would bet upon a Miracle Mule.
