Act My Age 가사

Verse: All the stuff I swore would never even cross my mind, Starts to crowd my head as soon as I'm 25. I'm old enough to realize I've got some growin' up to do, Oh no, but not just yet. I have to get a second job 'cause I don't make enough, My bank accounts overdrawn and my credit sucks. I'm holding out for paid vacation days and a 401k plan, But I don't know what that is. Chorus: I don't ever want to get myself together and act my age, I don't ever want to get my shit together and act my age. Verse: Attention span's too short for the radio, But long enough to make it through a music video. I wanna go back to the days when all the rules were mine to make, Do over, let's start again. Chorus: I don't ever want to get myself together and act my age, I don't ever want to get my shit together and act my age. Bridge: Why can't we just play pretend? C'mon I'll be your best friend, I'll tell you every place I hide. Cover my face but I stare between, My fingers at the scary scenes. And try to find a chair before the music stops. Chorus: I don't ever want to get myself together and act my age, I won't ever... show me where it says I have to act my age. I won't ever act my age. I won't ever act my age.
