Forest For The Trees 가사

Let me tell you about a place that I've been before It lies behind that old locked door It looks like a page out of paradise But only half as good at twice the price And I laugh at what we've become And I smile at the way things have gone Trying to lift the man up from his knees Trying to find the forest for the trees The forest for the trees Let me tell you about a friend that I once knew I believe he lived next door to you He held it tight inside his shell And then one day the axe just fell Let me tell you about another time About the sweetest spot in its early prime If the memory is all you lack Just open your eyes cause you can never go back.
