Letra de St. Louis Blues

It gives me great pride in announcing that We're gonna have a young man Makin' a big name for himself In the world of blues and the rock 'n' roll He's one of your own And he helped shape the way of rock 'n' roll As we know it Mr. Johnnie Johnson Well, a great, a great city and a great man Deserve to have a song written after'em St. Louis Blues I hate to see that evenin' sun go down I hate to see that evenin' sun go down Because the woman I'm lovin' Man, she done blow'd this town If I feel tomorrow like I feel today If I feel tomorrow like I feel today I'm gonna pack my things And make my get away St. Louis woman With a diamond ring Needs a man around By her apron string If it wasn't for powder And store-bought hair That woman I'm lovin' Wouldn't wear no ?? No, well, I got the St. Louis blues I'm blue as I can be Because the woman I love Got a heart like a rockin' machine If she'd a been alright She wouldn't a gone so far from me I hear ya! St. Louis woman With a diamond ring Needs a man around By her apron string If it wasn't for powder And store-bought hair That woman I'm lovin' Wouldn't wear no ?? No, well, I got the St. Louis blues I'm blue as I can be Because the woman I love Got a heart like a rockin' machine If she'd a been alright She wouldn't a gone so far from me
