say it first lyrics

Always been one for Biting my tongue 'til Blood starts to fill my mouth And oh how romantic We both like to panic When there's something to talk about I wanna say you feel the same I hesitate 'cause I'm afraid you don't Wish I could get inside your head And write what we been thinkin' on a note I'll say it in the shower And I'll say it when I'm drunk I'll remind you every hour how I say it just for fun I'll say it when you wake up While you're putting on your makeup I always finish last but you know I say it back You say it first You say it first Let's pop some champagne And rip off the band-aid It's easy when we're fucked up Now would it be tragic Would it ruin the magic If I stole the words off your tongue? I wanna say you feel the same I hesitate 'cause I'm afraid you don't Wish I could get inside your head And write what we been thinkin' on a note I'll say it in the shower And I'll say it when I'm drunk I'll remind you every hour how I say it just for fun I'll say it when you wake up While you're putting on your makeup I always finish last but you know I say it back You say it first ('Cause you know I say it back) You say it first You say it first You say it first Always been one for Biting my tongue 'til The blood starts to fill my mouth
