Original lyrics
ENSilence :
why am i sad?
the city lights tonight are beautiful
without us
at 2:45 i turn to see on second avenue
a sleeping taxi cab
in silence i'm tempted to forget.
why should i care?
i've got a thousand things to think about
without her
someone is there
but i don't understand a word you're saying
silence i'm tempted to forget.
laugh again
do you have to be so serious
all the time?
silence i'm tempted to forget.
