Walden And The Willow Tree lyrics

I woke up to the sound of Alexander on my phone I saw you in a wicker chair, reading Edgar Allen Poe Far from Salem by the sea, to Walden and the willow tree Stop and ask Elias how The beads stay on your dressing gown And Sam is sending notes in code The authors lie in sleepy homes Far away from smoke and cars We'll lie in leaves and count the stars
