On The Way lyrics

I saw it written on the wall There is a hope for us somewhere on the way And on my tv screen n' all There is a hope for us somewhere on the way. Oh what they show us isn't real, old empty cans and her dreams all thrown across the playing fields. Oh such a feeling down below, Is there a hope, somehow, somewhere on the way? Well just this simple truth I know, There must be hope for us somewhere on the way. Oh what they show us isn't real, old plastic bags and my dreams all thrown across the playing field.
