Original lyrics
ENI lay upon your golden wings silent and divine
I fall before your gaze never quite the same
black serenity I'll never let you go
of all the times I lay dying you're there to hear my call
I dream of sanity a time to let it go
in our silent slumber the embrace shall never end
black serenity your arms around my neck
in a shadow a silhouette together we are all
'before me I see the beauty of angels
as her hair cascades down her face
I hear her voice, here in this sanctuary
in these arms, a river to drown...'
black serenity hear her call to me
black serenity before the dawn we sleep
