Springtime lyrics

Looking through an open window In the early part of the day Watching the sun come up The treetops play The mood in the air is changing The sky is a bit more blue Somebody said that springtime came today And all I can think of is you Lately I've been feeling better The winter was hard to take Long and deep but from our sleep we wake The mood in the air is changing The sky is a bit more blue Somebody said that springtime came today And all I can think of is you As going together we're safe from harm Leaving nothing more to fear But hearing your lips whisper soft and warm And to have your body near It's the closeness of you that I'm thinking of And it makes me want to fly But we are so much more than making love That it almost makes me cry Now we need to spend our spring together And our long hot summer too Falling leaves and snowy weather Let them follow me and you The mood in the air is changing The sky is a bit more blue Somebody said that springtime came today And all I can think of is you
