love is patience
love is kindness
it does not envy, it does not boast
it is not proud, it is not crude
it is not selfish, it is not angry
it has no memory of fault
love does not delight in evil
but rejoices in the truth
always trusts
always protects
always persevere
love never fails
I know it's engraved in my heart
for me it's my backbone
but have not love I am nothing
but have not love I gain nothing
it's too easy to hate
I know, I've gone for the throat
do you know what it's like
love must be sincere
be rooted and bound in it
for this is what I know
God is love
