You said that I am a saint But what I feel like is I ain't You said that I am a son Then how come I still feel undone? You said that I'm a righteous man But I still feel like I'm full of wickedness You said I am in the vine But I still feel like I ain't fine God, I won't trust my own experiences God, I lay my burdens in your hands Jesus, I believe in all of your promises 'Cause I'm washed in the blood of the lamb You said that I'm crucified But this body still feels so alive You said that I have your spirit Lord, I think that I can hear him You said that I'm a holy man And that had always been your plan You said that you don't see my sin 'Cause that man took it upon him God, I won't trust my own experiences God, I lay my burdens in your hands Jesus, I believe in all of your promises 'Cause I'm washed in the blood of the lamb
