I cry myself to sleep With your ashes next to me Recalling memories throught my head Like you are there, you've never left Living in disbelief? Why death exists? Indignant, bitter and disturbed How does God have such a nerve? An ugly scar that never heals A damaged road that never yields The pain forever set inside An agony that never dies A constant image slowly fades Beyond a doubt it appears again The truth is and always will be No matter what you still here with me Each day passes by Eased the pain I left behind Reaching for an explanation But really searching for salvation Perhaps no more tears and despair I move on knowing life is never fair In my recollections I confide Because I never got the Chance to say goodbye
