Devil's Haircut Blues 歌词

Woke up this mornin', feelin' low and blue Got a devil on my shoulder, tellin' me what to do I grabbed my old guitar, strummin' out a tune With a devil's haircut, I'm singin' to the Moon Oh, devil, devil, won't you set me free? These blues are weighin' heavy, they won't let me be With my heart in the music, and my soul in the fight I'm playin' these devil's haircut blues tonight Streets are cold and lonely, shadows start to creep The sound of my guitar is the only thing I keep Whispers of the night, callin' out my name Dancin' with the devil, but I ain't playin' games So I’ll strum that old six-string, let my troubles fade away With every note I'm playin', I’ll keep the fear at bay The devil may be laughin', but I’ll sing my truth so loud In the heart of the blues, I’ll make my mama proud
