Don't Meet Your Heroes 歌词

I hope I make it in your memoir I don't mean to be a pessimist (I don't mean to be a pessimist) But I would never say you're heaven-sent (I would never say you're heaven-sent) You thought I was lightning for your jar I wish that we never met (that we never met) Every day, I'm suffering regret (suffering regret) But then again, it made me who I am (who I am) There ain't a damn thing (there ain't a damn) that I would change except Don't meet your heroes, they're not as they seem (not as they seem) I just should've kept you on my TV screen (on my TV screen) Oh, I learned my lesson when they put me through hell (put me through hell) No, don't meet your heroes without (without), knowing yourself Oh, oh Oh, oh Don't meet your heroes, they're not as they seem (not as they seem) I just should've kept you on my TV screen (on my TV screen) Oh, I learned my lesson when they put me through hell (when they put me through hell) No, don't meet your heroes without knowing yourself (without knowing yourself) Oh, hey, oh, knowing yourself, oh, oh I learned my lesson when they put me through hell (when they put me through hell) No, don't meet your heroes without (without) knowing yourself Oh, oh, oh Knowing yourself Yes, I've, yes, I've, yes, I've learned
