Help Me, Jesus 歌词

Help me, Jesus... I'm down my knees Help me, Jesus... I'm calling out "please" Help me, Jesus... I've nowhere to run Help me, Jesus... Won't you call me your son? He blocked my way so I could not pass I was shrouded in darkness I found myself in the lowest pit I'd gone down to the darkest depths Though I hoped for good, evil came I couldn't get rid of the ball and chain I felt the sorrow, the grief, the pain Then from my lips came this refrain Help me, help me, help me, Jesus I'm down my knees Help me, Jesus... I'm calling out, "please" Help me, Jesus... I've nowhere to run Help me, Jesus... Please call me your son I didn't know if I would survive I'd lost it all, but I was still alive I found nowhere I could place the blame But when I prayed for my friends A double portion came... Now I'm a blessed man, that's what I am I'm a blessed man, I'm a blessed man That's what I am, I'm a blessed man Through the fire and the breaking the pearl is revealed By the power of the spirit redemption is sealed He is wooing me onward from the jaws of distress Laid a table before me with only his best
