Nation's Disease 歌词

What if someday you give 'em the chance To see who you really are? Then you'll find everyone Giving you the evil eye You can say they’re not unkind They just don’t understand But if we don't open our eyes We are certainly damned You know It hurts and it's unfair But that prejudice is everywhere In this way it's never going to cease It's the nation’s disease It’s the nation’s disease Why should we care so much About what's on people's minds? Simple as that Their opinion rules our lives Inequality is just a word That is enough to explain our sins Denying our own brothers By the color of their skins I know it hurts you and it's unfair But that racism is everywhere And you know it's never going to cease It's the nation’s disease It's the nation’s disease It doesn't matter who you are The world is wicked and unkind There's always something wrong with you No, there’s a lot wrong with mankind
