Monolith 歌词

Be careful of what you say, of what you hear For the earth is drunk with the wines of adultery And stagnant with the foulest decay that man could emanate The time is coming when babylon will return You'll never find a creation like her With a kiss that will lead to hell Only the word of god will prevail How can we say we'll stand strong when even now he calls for our name Kings grovel at her feet for power, Filling their cups with the blood of the saints I can see the skies opening, bringing fire and darkness The world revels at the sight of this abomination But i urge you, my brothers and sisters, partake of her ways no longer Sins that count as high as heaven do not mirror his grace Why do we search for truth deep down in the mire Suffocation comes easily in the filth she perspires Trudging knee deep in martyr's blood Reaching for nonexistent hands A path forged by idols can never bring peace We cry out for liberation from our own creation Redemption is what we seek Redemption is what we seek from you Her whispers resonate in my mind But the wedding supper of the lamb is all i see Mystery Babylon the great Mother of whores These words will be our graves if we do not rise from our transgressions Lord, place a hatred so intense in our hearts for this calamity Hell be damned.
