Peace To Shine 歌词

Shame, these clouds have come my way So faithful to betray The worries of today Come down to me CHORUS Lord, I need Your peace to shine ( I need Your peace to shine) Through the darkness of my life (Darkness in my life) In Your grace, I cannot hide (Grace I cannot hide) Lord, I need Your peace to shine ( I need Your peace to shine) To shine Wait, I wait for You to break These fears my heart creates And hold fast to the way Your love and hope remains Lord, thank You that You're near In the darkest of my shadows You are here REPEAT CHORUS I need You, I need Your peace to shine Lord, I need Your peace to shine Through the darkness in my life REPEAT CHORUS I'm crying out to You I need Your peace to shine Shine on me I'm crying out to You I need Your peace to shine Shine on me Explanation: "Simply put, this song comes from Philippians 4:6-7 which says, 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your heart and your minds in Christ.' We wanted to write a song with pop sensibilities without sacrificing our desire for in-depth lyrics: 'Peace to Shine' is it."-
