Well let's go fishin' boys the girls are bitin' The weather's nice and they sure look invitin' They're jumpin' in the lake so let's not hesitate Let's go fishin' boys the girls are bitin' We'll comb our hair and drive real quickly uptown We'll take the red convertable with the top down For what I've got in mind we'll have to test our line If we use the wrong bait we'll get let down So let's go fishin' boys the girls are bitin'... [ fiddle ] Meet you right at home and take some cash to carry For girls a tackle box ain't necessary You won't need a hook we ain't fishin' by the book If we catch a nice one we'll get married So let's go fishin' boys the girls are bitin'... Let's go fishin' boys the girls are bitin' Yeah let's go fishin' boys the girls are bitin'
