Five Kings Are Put To The Sword 가사

The Amorite kings had all fled the battle At a place called Makkedah they hid in a cave Joshua ordered large rocks be rolled to the entrance Positioned his armed guards to seal the kings in After all of the stragglers from the battle were killed The guards then reopened the mouth of the cave They brought out the five kings as captives to Joshua By the sword of his judgment he sent each to their grave There is no place they can hide The five kings are going to die Come here! Place your foot on the neck of a king! Five kings are put to the sword! Come here! Place your foot on the throat of a king! Five kings are put to the sword! There is no place they can hide The five kings are going to die The Amorite kings were now hanging from poles They hung there until the evening had come Joshua then ordered the corpses brought down Their remains were thrown into the cave No inscriptions or epitaphs made This cavern hideout became the king’s tomb A pile of rocks that remains till this day A warning to all those who threaten this place There was no place they could hide The five kings have certainly died Come here! Place your foot on the neck of a king! Five kings are put to the sword! Come here! Place your foot on the throat of a king! Five kings are put to the sword! There was no place they could hide The five kings have certainly died
